Founded in 2010, the OCNC is comprised of more than 200 members committed to promoting and furthering the general welfare of University of Oregon Athletics and fostering a spirit of loyalty and enthusiasm among U of O alumni and Duck fans throughout Northern California.
We are an all-volunteer organization and over the past seven years, we have raised more than $100,000 to fund student-athlete scholarships and other athletic department programs.
Our signature event is Ducks in Tahoe, a weekend that includes a dinner/auction of Oregon-themed items and a golf tournament at Edgewood Golf Course on the shores of Lake Tahoe. We also sponsor other special events during the year.
In addition to playing an important role in supporting Oregon’s student-athletes, benefits of membership include:
- The opportunity to purchase football tickets for the Ducks’ home football games and the annual game in the Bay Area;
- A one-time 20 percent discount at the online Duck store;
- Discounted admission to OCNC events; and
- The opportunity to meet and network with other U of O supporters in Northern California.
We are seeking volunteers to help out at OCNC events, such as Ducks in Tahoe, and serve on our board of directors. Please let us know if you interested in getting involved.
OCNC is a California non-profit public benefit corporation. We are in the process of applying for federal tax exemption under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Please consult your tax advisor to determine whether your membership fee and donations qualify as a tax deduction.
